RIGCOM Access Appoints Gary Flowers Chairman

RIGCOM Access has welcomed Gary Flowers as the new Chairman of its Board.


With over 25 years strategy and leadership experience across iconic organisations including Mirvac, Australian Rugby Union and Sparke Helmore Lawyers, Gary will bring in-depth experience to assist RIGCOM Access in its further growth and development.

A leading installer of height safety systems, provider of rope access and industrial rigging services, RIGCOM Access has teams in NSW, Queensland and ACT who are specialists in systems certification and performing remedial works in difficult-to access places.

Skilled technicians are deployed to commercial and industrial sites to such as hi-rise commercial buildings, stadiums, commuter tunnels, telecommunications towers, mines and production plants to perform tasks from inspections, infrastructure servicing, assembly and deployment of safety systems.

URGENT – LadSaf Sleeve Product Recall

It has been brought to our attention by our supplier 3M (formally known as Capital Safety) that they have issued a product recall on the LadSaf Sleeve.

The official recall notice is shown below: 


In clarifying the issue with our supplier, they have advised that there may be a delay in supplying a replacement LadSaf sleeve. As such, they are willing to supply a complimentary twin tail lanyard for use as an interim measure. In order for us to arrange for the replacement of the LadSaf sleeve as well as provide a twin lanyard as an interim measure, we require your assistance in preparing some data for the supplier.

At your earliest convenience, please supply the following information: 

  • Company name
  • Name of contact coordinating supply
  • Mobile phone number of key contact
  • Preferred address for delivery
  • How many sleeves you have that need to be replaced
  • If you require a twin lanyards to be supplied as an interim measure
  • If instead of a replacement sleeve, you would prefer to receive a refund

Please send an email to with the above information. Inventory of LadSaf sleeves that have been tagged out of service should be retained in a secure location to enable us to make the exchange, once stock has been supplied. We will advise details about the availability of twin lanyards in due course.

RIGCOM Access appoints a new Director

RIGCOM Access Pty Ltd is pleased to announce the appointment of Michael Biddle as aMichael Biddle Director of the company, effective from the 1st April, 2016. Michael was previously Managing Director of Capital Safety Group (Australia) Pty Ltd and Chair of the Working at Height Association in Australia and brings 12 years of fall protection manufacturing and industry experience to the company.

Our website is just an extension of this philosophy, enabling our future and past clients to clearly see how we can add value to them.

RIGCOM Access provides a number of services and solutions that have been developed in direct response to the needs of our clients. Together they provide our clients with a Turnkey Solution focused on working to improve the downtimes of our clients assets and help increase the productivity of their business. For the first time we have a website that reflects the whole of RIGCOM Access and every service line represented into an easily digestible and navigable site.
