As the Founder of RIGCOM Access, Craig Myton holds the role of Managing Director, and is primarily responsible for the inception of the broader RIGCOM Group of companies. Craig’s pedigree consists of a decorated service history within the UK Royal Air Force, where he gained formal training as an Aircraft Engineer during his 7.5year tenure. Having served in Iraq and Afghanistan, Craig gained invaluable experience working in remote areas whilst meeting tight deadlines, and further honed his collaborative leadership style.
Arriving in Australia in December 2005, after successful completion of rigging training for Telecommunications and voluntary exit from the UK Royal Airforce, Craig was engaged to provide installation services of telecoms systems in remote regions, carry out rope access work on railways in NSW and geotechnical work on a Weir in QLD.
The resulting experiences gained over his first year in Australian market led to the identification of a strong demand for greater levels of service and professionalism within the industry. RIGCOM Access was established in April/May of 2009 to meet this demand and set the benchmark for the industry moving forward.
Applying demonstrated capabilities within process and project management, and maintenance and facilities service delivery, Craig has developed RIGCOM Access project and support services to the mining and resources and telecommunications industries across Australia.
RIGCOM’s maintenance projects now boast strong support contracts with blue chip and top tier companies including Transfield Services, Downer EDI, TruEnergy, and The Coles/Myers Group.
Craig serves on the Board of Directors of the following companies:
- RIGCOM Access
- RIGCOM Group
